v0.14.10
More reliable booking, routing, and custom fields
This release improves the reliability of booking pages, custom domains, and appointment holds, fixes a data-loss issue in custom text fields, and simplifies task attachment actions. No action is needed on your part.
Features
- Simplified attachment menus: the download and remove actions on task attachments now use short, clear labels, while the file name stays available for anyone using assistive technology, and confirmation messages wrap neatly for long file names.
Fixes
- Correct search visibility for custom domains: practices using their own branded booking domain now receive the right search-engine indexing rules, fixing a case where they previously received rules meant for internal testing pages.
- Immediate effect for deactivated accounts: deactivating a practice's account now stops its booking pages from routing online right away, instead of only taking effect after an unrelated change.
- More reliable appointment holds: closing the browser tab while rescheduling through a Manage Link no longer keeps a client's reserved time slot held for the full ten minutes, and related timing issues that could briefly hold onto outdated results have also been fixed.
- Consistent cancellation notifications: cancelling an appointment through a Manage Link now follows the same confirmation-email behaviour as cancelling through the client portal.
- Complete text formatting options: the strikethrough button is now available wherever the other text-formatting options appear in rich text fields.
- Protected special characters in text fields: custom text fields containing characters such as "<" no longer have part of their content silently dropped when saved.
- Safer custom field reordering: reordering a practice's custom field sets now rejects invalid requests entirely rather than leaving the list partially reordered.
Security and reliability
- More resilient signup verification: if the verification step during signup is briefly unavailable, the system now responds more gracefully instead of failing unexpectedly.
- Stronger domain safeguards: additional checks now ensure a practice's website domain settings can only ever be affected by that practice's own account.
