v0.14.12
Role-based access for custom fields, plus sign-in and appointment-form fixes
This release lets you restrict custom field sets to specific roles, fixes a captcha issue that could block sign-in, and improves the appointment creation form. Validation messages for custom fields are now shown in your practice's own language.
Features
- Role-based access for custom fields: practice owners can now restrict a custom field set to specific roles, choosing no access, view-only, or full edit for each role, so sensitive information such as compensation details stays visible only to the roles that should see it.
- Consistent privacy in the patient portal: when a custom field set is restricted, the same restriction now applies to what appears in the patient portal, so restricted information is never shown to patients through that channel either.
- Smoother appointment creation: the new-appointment form now asks for information in a more logical order — client, service, location, and therapist, followed by duration and price — and the submit button clearly reads "Create Appointment."
Fixes
- Sign-in captcha recovery: a rare issue that could leave the sign-in security check stuck, requiring a page reload before you could sign in, has been fixed.
- Localized field validation messages: messages shown when a custom field value does not pass validation now appear in your practice's own language instead of English or a technical code.
- Consistent client terminology: screens that previously always said "patient" now use the term your practice has chosen, such as "client," consistently.
