v0.16.13
Week-view booking, a clearer Memberships page and new-device sign-in emails
Every booking screen now shows the week as a strip of days with times grouped by part of the day, and the Client Portal gets a clearer Memberships page with its own Book a session page. Signing in on a browser an account has not used before now sends the account holder an email.
Features
- Week view for booking times: every booking screen now shows the seven days of the week as a strip, with the chosen day's times grouped under Morning, Afternoon and Evening. Week arrows replace the date field, and a week without free time shows one clear message with the next step.
- Smoother week changes: when you move to another week, the previous week stays visible but dimmed until the new one has loaded, so the page no longer jumps.
- Book a session page: in the Client Portal, booking a membership session now has its own page. Over the week strip you see what is left in each allowance period, for example 0 of 2 left, and days beyond the booking window say Too far ahead to book.
- Clearer Memberships page: Book a session is now the one main button beside the title, Upcoming sessions come first, and each membership says in one sentence how many sessions are left and until when.
- Session and appointment pages: a booked session has its own page with the room, the membership, the address with Directions, Add to calendar and Cancel. Appointments use the same balanced layout, and a status that needs your attention appears as a strip across the top.
- Confirmation on the page: after you book, reschedule or cancel, the page itself confirms it instead of a short pop-up message.
- Calmer cancel dialogs: Client Portal cancel dialogs no longer show a warning icon. A free cancellation confirms in your brand colour, and red appears only when cancelling costs something, such as a session that still counts as used.
- Members and Schedule tabs on a plan: a Membership Plan page now shows each member's weekly session use, the average per week, a flag for low use and the payment state. It also shows a calendar of the plan's sessions across all its rooms, and New reservation lists the plan's members first.
- Allowance left when you book for someone: the admin New reservation screen shows what is left in each allowance period over the day strip, and you can still book past it with a reason.
- Membership timeline: the Memberships tab of a person's record switches between Memberships and Payments, and shows a Timeline with the billing periods and sessions of each membership.
- Payment status on sessions: the preview of a room session names the membership's standing, such as Payment due, and its open payment.
- Smoother guest booking: in the Booking Widget and the Manage Link, you can change a selected time, including overlapping times, without losing your place. Date controls appear once the required choices are made, the email code form shows a countdown before you can resend, and the receipt confirms the request in quieter colours.
- One main button per page: each admin page now has a single filled button, and lead actions inside tabs and empty lists use an outlined style. The plan's note that it cannot be bought yet is now a warning banner, and the Services and Visit Reasons lists have a subtitle.
- Booking calendars open on a week: every booking calendar now opens on a week by default, while the admin Appointments calendar keeps its 3-day view.
- Cancel refusals explained: when an appointment cancellation is refused, the open dialog now says why instead of showing a short pop-up message.
Fixes
- Refunds are always recorded: a refund or chargeback reported by the payment provider is now recorded wherever a payment is checked, so a billing period reopens and people can no longer keep booking on money that was returned.
- Held times stay in step: the Manage Link no longer keeps a time blocked for 10 minutes after a failed pick, and cancelling hands back a held new time.
- No lost booking mid-request: the Client Portal and the Manage Link now lock the location, staff and date fields while a booking or reschedule is being sent, so a change at that moment no longer makes it fail with a held-time-not-found error.
- No flash after an invitation: when you close the Invitation sent dialog, the invite form no longer reappears for a moment before the dialog goes away.
- Correct session counts: the admin MFA dialog and Sign out all other sessions now count only sessions that are still open, instead of showing numbers such as 46 sessions to revoke when only one was open.
- Complete audit log entries: every completed sign-in now writes one success entry in its own portal's audit log, including sign-ins that used an MFA code. Failed password resets and account setups now name the account.
- Setup email resend for trials: resending the setup email now works for provisioned trial accounts.
- Held times and slow requests: a held time that runs out while a booking request is being sent now waits for the server's answer on all three booking screens, the Client Portal, the Booking Widget and the Manage Link.
Security and reliability
- New-device sign-in email: when a staff member or a person using the Client Portal signs in on a browser their account has not used before, the account holder gets one email with the time, browser and device, approximate country and what to do if it was not them. The email cannot be turned off, and a sign-in on a known browser sends nothing.
- Other browsers report again after a recovery step: after a password change, a password reset, Sign out other sessions or revoking a session, the affected browsers count as new devices and send the email again at their next sign-in, while the browser you used stays quiet.
- Admin MFA controls: Praxium now decides per business whether admin MFA may be set to Optional, and where it may not, Optional is disabled with the reason. Every switch of the admin MFA mode is recorded in the audit log and emailed to the owners and admins who can view security settings.
- Stronger network restrictions: a blocked network no longer sees the signed-in menu or profile page, and changing IP restriction settings now needs a fresh authenticator code. Network code emails are also capped per day.
- Safer support sign-in: additional safeguards protect the way Praxium support signs in to help you, including when network restrictions are on, and your own admins keep the same rules as before.
- Safer defaults for documents and files: a new Client Portal profile starts with the Documents tab off, and a file field on a person or appointment record can no longer be public.
- Consistent password protection: password changes, resets and account setup now share the same check against known breached passwords, and a reset ends all usable sessions and clears password-related lockouts.
- More reliable custom field patterns: patterns on custom fields now run in a way that cannot slow down the system, and the editor explains how to write a pattern when it uses unsupported syntax.
- Owner setup sessions: a new owner can stay signed in after their first account setup, while a repeated setup ends every session, so the owner signs in again with the new password.
