v0.16.6

Room booking, memberships and a rebuilt Client Portal appointments page

Praxium now supports shared rooms with a people limit and renewing memberships paid online, with a Memberships page in the Client Portal. The Client Portal also gets a rebuilt Appointments page, a booking button in the top bar and a footer with opening hours.

Features

  • Room booking with memberships: You can offer shared rooms, such as a gym or sauna, with a limit on the number of people per session. Set weekly hours and date overrides, and sell renewing memberships paid through your own payment provider account. Praxium handles payment reminders, pauses booking and ends unpaid memberships automatically. Turn the feature on under Settings › General › Room booking when you are ready to use it.
  • Memberships in the Client Portal: People can buy a plan and pay from the Memberships page, then book or cancel sessions. They can also pay an open billing period from the portal bar.
  • Membership management: Show running memberships and their status in the Memberships column, or filter custom views with ‘Has a running membership’. Open a membership from its name when your role can view both people and memberships. Each membership card shows the person’s own price. A restored membership shows Payment due until its next renewal is created.
  • Room access: You cannot archive a location with active rooms or restore a room at an archived location. Before confirmation, Praxium checks the booking against the room’s location and your access.
  • Payments and membership lifecycle: Praxium records confirmed online payments even if the membership terms were removed in the meantime. It checks whether each period was paid before sending a reminder, pausing booking or ending a membership. If the payment provider does not respond, Praxium waits briefly and then asks you to check there. Ending a membership keeps emails already waiting for other sessions. Before a workspace is wiped, reseeded or deleted, Praxium disconnects its payment providers so no open payment link remains.
  • Rebuilt Appointments page: the Client Portal now opens on an Upcoming tab with one-line agenda rows, keeps Past one tap away, offers “Add all to calendar”, and shows a side column with your staff, a Book again link and the online change window.
  • Booking in the top bar and a footer with opening hours: people can book from every Client Portal page, feedback moves into the account menu, and a footer shows address, phone, email and opening hours on every page.
  • Warmer, calmer look: the admin portal and the Client Portal use an almost-white page with warm greys, and the account menu no longer shows a focus ring after a mouse click or a red Sign out.
  • Connections in one place: Email connections moves into Integrations, before Payments, and payment and email connections show Healthy, Needs attention or Not checked together with the time of the last check.
  • Text templates for Long Text fields: you can define up to 10 reusable texts on a field, and your team inserts them from a Text templates menu, with a choice to replace or add below when the box already has text.
  • Custom field sets and report filters: a field set now has its actions in the header, mobile page headers are more compact, and the pinned filter row of reports has its own clear surface.
  • Tidier pickers and lists: inactive choices fold under one closed “Inactive” line with “Remove all inactive”, dropdowns with staff or people show photos or initials, category lists show each name in your screen language, and offered locations are listed by name.
  • Portal visibility profile: the profile now shows on the person form and view, with an ⓘ for help, once you have two or more profiles.
  • Screens lock on time: an idle calendar or dashboard now locks after 10 idle minutes, only real input keeps a session open, and a locked session reopens on a password-only page, titled “Verify it's you” in a new tab.
  • Clearer password reset: after you select Send reset link, the page says “Check your email” and names the address.

Fixes

  • Changes saved while a page closes: a view preference, an onboarding step or a released booking hold is no longer lost when you reload or close a tab right after a page loads.
  • Menus that fit the screen: dropdown menus, including the location switcher and the account menu, now stop at the window edge and scroll, so the last items are reachable on a short screen.
  • Back and tab choices: going back right away keeps your draft, and switching quickly between tabs on a page keeps your last choice.
  • Button labels: Add buttons show their label as written, such as “New field”, instead of capitalising every word.

Security and reliability

  • Accurate screen lock: a stale browser tab can no longer lock a session after newer activity.
  • Additional safeguards: access to page titles and location data is now checked more strictly.
