Release Notes

v0.7.562

Feedback form improvements and reliability updates

This release brings a range of improvements to the feedback form used in the portal: a cleaner design, screenshot and annotation support, a discard confirmation to prevent lost drafts, and automatic email updates when the status of your submission changes. Several smaller fixes and reliability improvements are also included.

Features

  • Screenshot and annotation support: You can now attach a screenshot directly from the feedback form and mark it up with arrows, boxes, or blur areas before submitting.
  • Discard confirmation: If you close the feedback form while you have already filled in something, you will be asked to confirm before your input is discarded — so nothing gets lost by accident.
  • Status update emails: When the status of your feedback submission changes, you will automatically receive an email to keep you informed.
  • Send me a copy: The option to receive a copy of your submission by email is now available for every feedback type, not just selected ones.
  • Improved feedback form design: The form has been widened and visually refined — clearer labels, better colour use, and a persistent attachment area that stays visible while you add multiple files.

Fixes

  • The focus ring on the feedback button no longer appears when clicking with a mouse — it now only shows when navigating with a keyboard.
  • Various visual inconsistencies in the feedback form have been corrected, including font sizes, spacing, and border colours.

Security and reliability

Additional safeguards have been applied to ensure that certain testing tools remain strictly limited to local development environments and are never accessible in the live service.
