v0.7.576
MFA enforcement, onboarding improvements, and interface polish
This release introduces mandatory multi-factor authentication (MFA) enforcement for admin users, significant improvements to the trial onboarding experience, and a range of interface refinements for better usability on all screen sizes.
Features
- Mandatory MFA for admin users: Practice administrators can now enforce multi-factor authentication for all staff with admin access. Users who have not yet set up MFA are guided through the setup process before they can continue. This ensures your practice's admin portal is protected according to your security policy.
- Onboarding panel improvements: The trial onboarding panel has been redesigned with sections instead of tabs, making it easier to navigate. Your open and closed sections are now remembered between sessions. Deep links from the panel now take you directly to the right part of the settings page.
- Mobile and tablet support for onboarding: The onboarding panel is now hidden on mobile devices (where it was covering page content) and uses a narrower layout on tablets, keeping the rest of the page usable.
- Attention cues for onboarding actions: When the onboarding panel directs you to a specific action — such as opening the trial tools menu — a subtle visual highlight now draws your eye to the right item.
- Trial banner no longer flashes on refresh: The trial banner now correctly remembers its dismissed state across page refreshes, eliminating a brief visual flash.
- Sign-out button styling: The sign-out option in the user menu is no longer shown in red, as it is a routine action rather than a destructive one.
Fixes
- Fixed an issue where the onboarding panel would re-expand on every page navigation after being minimised to a pill.
- Fixed a brief visual flash (redirect flicker) that could appear when being directed to the MFA setup screen.
- Fixed the form action bar overlapping the expanded onboarding panel on certain screen sizes.
- Fixed section open/closed state not being saved correctly when the save request failed — the panel now reverts to its previous state and shows an error message.
Security and reliability
Admin portal access is now better protected: practice administrators can require all admin users to use multi-factor authentication, with automatic checks that ensure this requirement stays in effect. Additional safeguards have been put in place to protect access to sensitive areas of the admin portal.
