Custom field types: country, phone modes, and date picker
This release adds three new custom field capabilities: a searchable country dropdown, a dual-mode phone field, and an improved date picker for desktop. Several smaller improvements were also made to the location branding form and internal access management.
Features
- Country field type: A new country field type is now available for custom field sets, offering a searchable dropdown with flags and localized country names. The selected value is stored as a standard country code, making it reliable and consistent across the platform.
- Phone field dual-mode: Phone custom fields can now be configured in two modes — a single free-text field with optional formatting, or a split mode with a country prefix picker and a national number field that stores the number in a standardised format. Switching between modes requires no data migration.
- Desktop date picker: Date fields now show a calendar popover on desktop with month and year dropdowns for quick navigation, while mobile devices continue to use the native date input. Date of birth fields also now correctly use the local date to determine the maximum selectable date.
- Location branding form improvements: Each colour reset button in the location branding form now has a clear, specific label so it is easier to identify which colour slot is being reset. Inherited organisation colours are now shown accurately in the form preview.
Fixes
- Location country field: The country field on location address forms now correctly uses the searchable country picker, ensuring the field works as expected when adding or editing a location.
Security and reliability
- Improved data protection for appointments: Additional safeguards ensure that location information linked to appointments is handled consistently within the platform's data protection measures.
- Dependency security: All known dependency security findings have been resolved; the platform currently has no outstanding flagged dependencies.
