v0.7.600

Custom fields: default country, validation improvements, and activity log display

This release improves custom fields across the admin portal and patient portal: a default country can now be configured for country fields, validation errors clear as soon as a value is corrected, and the patient portal now validates custom fields before submission. Activity logs also show single-choice field changes in a single line in your language.

Features

  • Default country for country fields: when configuring a country field, you can now set a default country that is pre-selected when the field is opened — useful for practices that work primarily with clients from one country.
  • Patient portal custom field validation: the patient portal now checks custom field values before submission, giving clients immediate feedback if a required field is missing or incorrectly filled in.
  • Activity log: single-choice fields in one language: changes to country, selection, and other single-choice fields now appear as one line in the activity log, shown in your own language — previously they appeared as two stacked rows, one per language.

Fixes

  • Validation errors clear on correction: in the admin portal, inline errors on custom fields now disappear as soon as you correct the value, without needing to save a second time.
  • Release note layout with single impact: when a release has only a migration impact or only an availability impact, the information now fills the full width instead of leaving an empty column next to it.

Security and reliability

Improved protection against a known dependency issue: a third-party component used for language file loading was updated to address a known security issue, keeping your data better protected.
