v0.8.0
Split client and staff names, improved staff list, and interface consistency
This release introduces separate first name and last name fields for clients and staff throughout the platform, improves the staff list with clearer account status labels and a smarter location display, and brings a range of visual consistency improvements to the admin portal.
Features
- Separate first and last name fields: Clients and staff members now have distinct first name and last name fields across the entire platform — including the admin portal, public booking, search, exports, and activity logs — making it easier to sort, address, and find people by name.
- Staff list: clearer account status column: The "Status" column in the staff list has been renamed to "Account", matching the terminology used in the client list for a more consistent experience.
- Staff list: "All locations" label: When a staff member works at every active location, the list now shows a single "All locations" label instead of listing each location individually, reducing visual clutter.
- FAQ management improvements: The FAQ section in the admin portal now displays visibility and per-location override status using consistent status badges, and shows category counts and detail information in a cleaner, more readable layout.
Fixes
- Staff booking emails use correct names: Confirmation and notification emails sent during online booking now correctly use the staff member's public name instead of an internal value.
- Checkbox labels displayed correctly: An optional label suffix on checkboxes with helper text was not shown; it now appears as expected in all cases.
- FAQ edit page language handling: The subtitle on the FAQ edit page now correctly displays the localised text for the active language rather than always defaulting to the English version.
- Staff location assignment accuracy: Archived locations are no longer counted when determining whether a staff member works at all active locations, preventing incorrect "All locations" labels from appearing.
Security and reliability
- Stronger data integrity for names: The introduction of separate name fields includes additional safeguards to ensure that name data is always stored completely and consistently.
