Release Notes

v0.8.10

Booking defaults, FAQ categories, and simplified branding colors

This release turns off online booking by default for new practices, services, and staff members, adds category management to FAQs, improves appointment and calendar displays, and simplifies branding to two colors. Client access pages now show linked client portal profiles alongside a redesigned invitation history.

Features

  • Online booking off by default: new practices, services, and staff members now start with online booking turned off, with clearer explanations of what organization, service, staff, and availability settings affect client-visible booking.
  • FAQ category management: the FAQ edit screen now includes a built-in dialog for creating and organizing FAQ categories without leaving the page.
  • Clearer calendar and appointment views: appointment date ranges now show the day of the week, appointment details list location alongside client and therapist information, and staff availability views use the full width of the screen.
  • Simplified branding colors: practices now choose only a primary and secondary color for their branding; accent styling is generated automatically, and the color picker and previews have been streamlined accordingly.
  • Client portal profile visibility: the client access overview now shows each client's linked client portal profile.
  • Redesigned invitation history: staff and client invitation history now share a single, improved view with search, filtering, sorting, and clearer status information.

Fixes

  • Booking unavailable notice: the logo on booking-unavailable messages is now larger and the status icon smaller, for a clearer, better-balanced appearance.
  • Bilingual label display: category and FAQ labels shown in two languages no longer repeat the same text twice, while required content still displays correctly.
  • Consistent booking terminology: booking activity labels and the default note left by clients now use the same wording as the rest of the appointments settings.
  • Staff and service location display: location information for staff and services now displays consistently across screens.

Security and reliability

  • Safer email handling: automated emails, such as account and access notifications, now handle delivery failures without exposing sensitive recipient or link details in system logs.
