Release Notes

v0.8.20

Faster task workflows, a clearer AI Assistant, and stronger sign-in protection

This release refreshes task management with a cleaner, faster interface, improves how the AI Assistant guides you through recording and reviewing conversations, and strengthens how sessions and sign-ins are protected across all portals.

Features

  • Streamlined task management: the task dashboard, task list, and task details now use a denser, more consistent layout, with color-coded importance badges and a single save-and-complete action.
  • Unified staff and person search: tasks, appointments, and bookings now share one consistent way to search for and select people, complete with staff photos.
  • Clearer AI Assistant feedback: the AI Assistant now shows when it is listening, processing your answer, and speaking, so you always know what stage a conversation is in.
  • Simplified calendar dates: the compact appointment calendar navigation now shows shorter dates without the year, while historical timelines and date pickers keep the full date.

Fixes

  • Fixed a sign-in loop: practices could get stuck bouncing between the sign-in page and their dashboard after their screen locked; sign-in now works correctly in this situation.
  • More consistent AI Assistant actions: discarding a recording, resuming after an interruption, and choosing what to do with a finished conversation now use clear, consistent buttons and wording throughout.
  • Clearer handling of unusable conversations: when an AI conversation is interrupted before anything is saved, the assistant now explains why and lets you discard it and continue with one click.
  • Task uploads no longer disappear on failure: if a file attached to a task fails to upload, it now stays visible with an option to retry or remove it, instead of silently vanishing.
  • Fixed a missing permission label: the practice-wide task management permission now shows a proper name and description in every supported language.

Security and reliability

  • Stronger session protection: your screen now locks automatically after a short period of inactivity, and you may occasionally be asked to confirm your password again during long sessions, adding an extra layer of protection for patient data.
  • Better protection against automated sign-in attempts: sign-in now responds more consistently and is more resistant to automated abuse, across all practices.
  • More reliable AI conversations: each AI Assistant conversation now starts fresh and no longer mixes in content from a previous session.
