v0.8.23

Encrypted file storage, location-based pricing, and portal branding updates

This release strengthens how photos and documents are stored and protected, shows location-specific pricing for services in the admin portal, and lets the client portal reflect a patient's home-location branding. It also includes a number of small display fixes and additional safeguards around sign-in and account security.

Features

  • More secure file storage: staff photos, documents, and attachments are now encrypted before they leave the browser, uploaded directly to secure storage, and automatically checked for safety before becoming visible — supporting larger files without slowing things down.
  • Location-specific service pricing: the service list and detail view now show per-location price differences, each labeled with the location's own color and name, so staff can immediately see which price applies where.
  • Home-location branding in the client portal: when a patient signs in, the portal now shows the colors and logo of their default clinic location, giving them a more familiar, personalized experience.
  • Cleaner opening-hours display: the clock icon in the weekly opening-hours grid moved from every time field to the column headings, giving a tidier, less repetitive layout.

Fixes

  • Staff photos preserved during an upgrade: fixed an issue where a staff member's profile photo could temporarily fail to show while background improvements to file storage were rolling out; existing photos now keep displaying correctly throughout.
  • Location editing redirect corrected: saving changes to a location now returns staff to the right screen afterward.
  • Several small display corrections: the login page title now aligns correctly, a staff member's name no longer incorrectly shows as "Unknown" in some views, an online-booking badge no longer displays at the wrong width, and Romanian pagination text now reads correctly.
  • Cleaner spacing for service pricing: per-location prices in the service list now have consistent spacing so they are clearly separated from the next item.

Security and reliability

  • Stronger sign-in protections: several additional safeguards now protect the sign-in process and account changes, making it harder for automated abuse to succeed and adding a clear notification whenever sensitive account settings, such as two-factor authentication or a password, are changed.
  • Safer file handling: every uploaded photo, document, or attachment is now automatically checked for safety before it can be viewed or shared, reducing the risk from unsafe files.
  • Improved session-lock privacy: when the screen locks for inactivity, sensitive information is now fully removed from view rather than simply hidden, giving stronger protection for patient data on shared devices.
