Flexible visit reason booking and platform reliability improvements

This release introduces flexible booking, letting practices offer exact services, visit reasons, or a choice between both, with a consistent booking experience across the client portal and public widget. It also includes accuracy improvements to activity history, custom fields, appointment pricing, and API profile management.

Features

  • Flexible booking choices: practices can now decide whether clients book an exact service, choose from a list of visit reasons, or pick either, across the admin portal, client portal, and public booking widget.
  • Visit reason management: a new FAQ-style area lets practices create, edit, and organize visit reasons, including required skills and per-location visibility.
  • Consistent booking experience: the client portal and public booking widget now share the same responsive selectors and step-by-step summary, making booking easier to follow on any device.
  • Clearer API profile overview: the API profile list now shows location access in its own color-coded column, keeps action buttons visible even when values wrap, and drops the unused slug column for a simpler view.

Fixes

  • Accurate custom field counts: usage counts for custom fields now reflect only meaningful values and count location-specific fields by the correct owner.
  • Cleaner saved records: empty custom field entries are now automatically cleared when a record is saved, keeping data tidy.
  • More reliable activity history: long field values now collapse consistently everywhere activity history appears, archived field details display correctly, and changes to location-specific fields now show which location was affected.
  • API profile status controls: built-in API profiles can now be activated or deactivated as expected.
  • Corrected appointment pricing: a small number of completed appointments that were missing price information were automatically corrected using the applicable location pricing, while existing prices and manual overrides were left untouched.
  • Client portal banner memory: dismissing the welcome banner in the client portal is now remembered, so it will not reappear unnecessarily.

Security and reliability

  • Platform security update: core platform components were updated to the latest official security release, resolving known moderate-or-higher security items.
  • Leaner default setup: new practices no longer receive an unused default integration profile, reducing unnecessary access from the start.
