Release Notes

v0.8.33

Clearer email settings and more reliable sender verification

This release improves email template previews and branding, makes the Email Settings experience more consistent, and gives clearer messages when verifying a sender fails.

Features

  • Clearer email previews: template previews now consistently show your practice's branding, logo, and footer details, and placeholder mode clearly shows where personal information will appear.
  • Standardized email settings: connection setup now shows the connection name up front, asks for the sender before the test recipient, and expands routing options by default for easier review.
  • Actionable verification feedback: when sender verification fails, Email Settings now shows a clear, translated explanation and the next step to take instead of a generic error.

Fixes

  • Placeholder text in MFA reset emails: fixed an issue where administrator two-factor authentication reset emails could show unfilled placeholder text instead of the real details.
  • Logo display for locations: fixed the practice logo not always appearing correctly on emails sent from a specific location.
  • Logo header readability: the background behind a logo is now lighter and easier to read.

Security and reliability

  • Better protected connection details: stored email connection details are better safeguarded against accidental exposure.
  • More reliable verification checks: verifying a sender now always finishes within a fixed time so it can no longer hang, and status updates automatically after a failed check.
