v0.8.34

Clearer email diagnostics and safer template test sends

This release makes it easier to understand and fix email connection problems, and adds safeguards so test emails are never sent by accident.

Features

  • Clearer connection failure messages: when an email connection has a problem, the practice now sees a plain-language explanation with practical next steps next to the affected connection, with technical details available if needed.
  • Confirmation before test sends: sending a test email template now shows a compact confirmation dialog with the exact sender address and the administrator who will receive it, before anything is sent.
  • Test send status notifications: after a template test is sent, success or failure is now reported clearly through a standard notification.
  • Clearer sender wording: labels for reply-to addresses and contact form senders have been reworded to be easier to understand.

Fixes

  • Sender save button fix: after a sender connection is successfully verified, the save action now correctly turns off so already-verified settings cannot be saved again unnecessarily.

Security and reliability

  • Safer link previews: appointment-management links now appear as clear placeholder text while previewing email templates, so real links are never exposed during testing.
  • Faster email issue resolution: improved diagnostics help identify and resolve email delivery problems more quickly, making practice communications more reliable.
