Clearer activity feed and more accurate booking calendars

This release makes the appointment calendar reflect staff availability and buffers more accurately, adds a color-coded activity feed with a new client-deactivation event, and improves the reliability of the online booking page when a practice is temporarily unavailable.

Features

  • Color-coded activity feed: activity entries are now color-coded by type (new, updated, completed, deactivated, deleted, and more), making it much easier to scan what happened at a glance.
  • Client deactivation tracked: deactivating a client now creates its own entry in the activity feed instead of showing up as a generic update.
  • More accurate booking calendars: the appointment calendar now clearly shows when staff are unavailable and blocks booking outside their available hours by default, and shows appointment buffer time with the same clear, muted pattern.
  • Expandable long text: long custom field values and activity details can now be expanded and collapsed with a "Show more / Show less" control instead of taking up the whole screen.
  • Consistent links in the portal: links inside pages are now shown with a permanent underline, making them easier to spot.

Fixes

  • Language settings respected everywhere: practice content, custom fields, and public information now consistently only display and allow editing in the languages enabled for your practice.
  • More reliable booking page errors: the online booking page now reliably shows the right message when a practice's booking page is temporarily unavailable.
  • Consistent error page branding: the general error page shown when something goes wrong now consistently uses Praxium's default look.
  • Minor label and icon polish: small visual inconsistencies in field labels and info icons have been cleaned up across the admin portal.

Security and reliability

  • More reliable booking availability detection: booking pages now rely on a more robust internal signal to detect when a practice is temporarily unavailable, reducing the chance of confusing error messages.
