v0.7.577

Client portal profiles, onboarding improvements, and stability fixes

This release brings a redesigned client portal access profile editor with collapsible sections, an improved onboarding checklist, and several fixes that ensure your settings and customizations are applied correctly and without delay.

Features

  • Collapsible, reorderable profile sections: The client portal access profile editor now organises fields into three sections — Personal information, Appointments, and Documents. Each section can be collapsed or expanded, and you can drag them into your preferred order. Your layout is saved per staff member.

  • Invite client task in onboarding checklist: A new step in the onboarding checklist guides you through inviting your first client to the portal, making it easier to get started.

  • Onboarding pill now expands only on hover: The onboarding button in the corner of the screen no longer expands automatically when navigating between pages — it now only opens when you hover over it or focus it with the keyboard.

  • Dynamic entity labels in portal profiles: Labels throughout the client portal access profile editor now reflect the custom name your practice uses for clients, keeping the interface consistent with your own terminology.

  • MFA reset notifications: When an administrator resets two-step verification (MFA) on a team member's account, that team member is now emailed automatically — so an unexpected reset can be noticed and reported right away.

  • Renamed account page in the client portal: The client portal's 'Profile' page is now called 'My Account', giving clients a clearer home for their personal details and security settings.

Fixes

  • Sidebar labels update immediately: After changing a custom entity name (for example, renaming 'Clients' to 'Patients'), the navigation labels in the sidebar now update immediately instead of sometimes showing the previous name until the next reload.

  • Smoother admin header on smaller screens: The header controls in the admin portal now adapt more cleanly on narrow and mid-size screens, preventing cramped or overlapping buttons.

  • More reliable portal login redirects: After signing in to the client portal, you are now reliably returned to the page you were trying to reach.

Security and reliability

Several internal data preparation steps that were failing on deployment have been resolved, ensuring that client portal access settings — including field-level permissions — are applied correctly for all practices.
