April 2026: AI-Assisted Intake, Patient Portal and a Fresh New Design

April 20261 releases

April was Praxium's most significant month yet, bringing an AI-assisted intake, a secure patient portal and a complete visual refresh you can brand as your own.

  • Clinical documentation: AI-assisted intake lets you speak naturally while Praxium drafts structured notes for your review and approval before anything is saved.
  • Client portal: A new secure patient portal lets clients sign in to view their own information, protected by the same strong login security used by staff.
  • Design and branding: A refreshed look spans the whole platform, with practice branding so the portal carries your own colours and logo.
  • Administration and security: A new access and security area adds IP restrictions and an audit log, plus a clearer two-tab view for inviting colleagues and managing roles.
  • Clinical tools: An interactive body map helps record where a patient experiences complaints.

Features

This release brings major additions across clinical work, client self-service and account administration.

  • AI-assisted intake: Speak naturally during a consultation and let Praxium draft structured notes, which you always review and approve before anything is saved.
  • Patient portal: Clients can sign in to a secure portal to view their own information, protected by the same strong login security used by your team.
  • Refreshed design and branding: A new look spans the whole platform, and practice branding lets the portal carry your own colours and logo.
  • Access and security area: Set IP restrictions and review a clear audit log of who did what.
  • Team invitations: A new two-tab view shows current staff access and invitation history, with a choice of role when inviting colleagues.
  • Body map: An interactive body map lets you record where a patient experiences complaints.

Fixes

  • Login and password-recovery messages are now clearer across the team and patient portals.
  • Appointment scheduling is smoother, with consistent date and time display everywhere.
  • Bank account numbers are now validated and neatly formatted.

Security and reliability

  • The patient portal has the same protections as the team portal: two-step login, automatic screen lock and account lockout.
  • Password recovery is now available in both the team and patient portals and has been hardened against abuse.
  • Account names and email addresses are now encrypted alongside other sensitive data.
