Week 24: Multi-Location Support, List Exports, and Security Hardening
Jun 8, 2026 - Jun 14, 20268 releases
This week's updates bring major flexibility for multi-location practices, faster ways to get your data out of Praxium, and a series of security and reliability upgrades under the hood.
- Locations: Practices can now manage multiple locations with their own schedules, staff, pricing, FAQs, and custom fields, all from one admin portal.
- Exports: Staff, clients, appointments, services, and tenant lists can now be exported to CSV, Excel, or PDF directly from the list view.
- Security: Stored patient and practice data now has stronger encryption protections, and role permissions are safer thanks to tighter access controls during setup and role assignment.
- Admin experience: The staff list, audit log, and roles interface got cleaner layouts, and several display bugs affecting team pages, staff photos, and activity logs were fixed.
Features
Here are the feature highlights from this week's releases.
- Multi-location support: Manage multiple locations with their own opening hours, staff assignments, services, pricing, and branding, plus per-location scheduling, FAQ overrides, and custom fields.
- List exports: Export staff, clients, appointments, services, and tenant lists to CSV, Excel, or PDF, respecting your current filters and visible columns.
- Custom fields: A new color picker custom field type is now available, alongside custom fields for locations that can be reordered and shown as sortable list columns.
- Roles and permissions: Administrators can now only assign permissions within their own access level, and the roles interface has a cleaner layout with clearer controls.
- Admin portal polish: The staff list now has a live results summary, the audit log shows your practice's custom entity names, and onboarding checklist tasks are better organised.
- Sign-in experience: Login and multi-factor authentication now flow more smoothly, with improved keyboard and screen-reader support.
Fixes
Several issues were resolved across the portal this week.
- Staff profile photos now display correctly on client detail pages instead of showing initials only.
- The public team page no longer goes blank or crashes when a team member's profile is missing a photo or name.
- Date-of-birth values stored in an older format now display correctly, with existing records corrected automatically.
- Creating a service with a single option no longer fails silently.
- Deleting a staff member with past appointments now shows a clear explanation instead of a generic error.
- Activity log entries for color fields, entity name changes, and updated records now display readable, correctly formatted information.
- A staff form issue that could save an outdated set of locations has been corrected.
- The activities panel no longer fails for practices that had edited location details before this update.
- Error pages for access denied and not found now match the look and feel of the rest of the portal.
Security and reliability
This week's releases include several protections for your data and systems.
- Stored patient records, documents, and other private content now have stronger encryption that ties data more tightly to its owner and context, with existing data automatically upgraded and no action required.
- Access keys and signing secrets are now always stored securely, regardless of account configuration.
- Additional safeguards prevent unintended privilege levels from being assigned during account and role setup, and administrators can no longer grant permissions beyond their own access level.
- Exported spreadsheet files are now handled more safely to protect recipients who open and edit them.
- A platform dependency was updated to address several moderate security advisories, and reliability improvements reduce the chance of intermittent network errors.
