Week 33: Custom booking domains fixed and richer task management

This week's updates repaired custom booking domain issues, made task management more powerful, and improved rich text formatting and accessibility across the portal.
- Booking: Custom branded booking domains now reliably load the correct page instead of failing or redirecting incorrectly.
- Tasks: You can now preview and download attachments directly, and task notifications are shown separately for clearer visibility.
- Formatting: Rich text formatting, including strikethrough, is now available across more fields such as FAQs, calendar events, and tasks.
- Security: Sign-in, verification, and domain routing are more resilient to temporary service interruptions.
Features
- Rich text everywhere: FAQ answers, location overrides, feature descriptions, insurance and policy descriptions, calendar events, tasks, and body map notes now support the same rich text formatting as custom fields, including bold, underline, links, and strikethrough.
- Dashboard improvements: Widget columns can now be resized anytime, keep their assigned position when hidden, and the activity panel stays pinned while scrolling.
- Task panel: Tasks now open in a clear read view first, with an Edit button, and the note editor only opens when you choose to add a note.
- Task attachments: Preview PDFs, images, text files, and CSVs directly from a task, download all attachments as a single ZIP, and manage them from one simplified menu.
- Notifications: Task updates now appear in their own notification panel with an unread count, separate from the Tasks button.
- Network security clarity: Sign-in verification screens now explain more clearly when you are approving a single visit versus trusting a device for 30 days, and network-restriction notices show the masked address and who enabled the check.
- API profiles: The access profile overview now shows how many fields are assigned to each profile.
Fixes
- Booking reliability: Custom branded booking domains, booking links, and appointment holds now work correctly, fixing login-screen errors, page-not-found issues, and search-engine indexing problems.
- Emails: Appointment confirmation and reminder emails now show the correct location address, and the duplicated website address in email footers has been removed.
- Calendar and tasks: Overlapping appointments, multi-therapist status menus, task panel alignment, and task drawers hidden behind banners have all been fixed.
- Text and fields: Long text with formatting now collapses correctly, custom text fields no longer lose special characters, and the strikethrough option is now available everywhere other formatting options appear.
- Account management: Deactivating a practice's account now immediately stops its booking pages from routing online, and custom field reordering now rejects invalid requests entirely.
Security and reliability
- Accessibility and safety: Screen reader labels for "show more" controls are clearer, and collapsed long text is now fully hidden from keyboard and screen reader access until expanded.
- Verification resilience: Sign-in, password recovery, signup, and booking verification now handle temporary service interruptions gracefully, with clear retry guidance instead of frozen forms.
- Domain safeguards: Additional checks ensure a practice's website and booking domain settings can only be changed by that practice's own account, and page requests now go through one consistent domain check.
- Ongoing maintenance: Several underlying software components were updated to close known security gaps, and duplicate identity information was removed from security emails.
