This week brought smarter phone number handling across the platform, plus several upgrades to how custom fields work for both staff and clients.

Phone numbers: Phone fields now automatically detect the country as you type and store numbers in a consistent international format for staff, client, and admin profiles.
Custom fields: New country, phone, and date picker field types make it easier to capture accurate client information, plus a live preview shows exactly how a field will look before you save it.
Patient portal: The patient portal now checks custom field values before submission, giving clients immediate feedback on missing or incorrect fields.
Security: All known dependency security issues have been resolved, and phone numbers are now validated against real international numbering plans.

Phone numbers: Phone fields for staff, client, and admin profiles now auto-detect the country as you type and store numbers in a consistent international format.

Preview and configuration display: The live preview panel now matches the actual field width, appears correctly on wide screens, and phone fields no longer show "No configuration" when using the default mode.

Dependency security: All known dependency security findings have been resolved, and a third-party component used for language file loading was updated to address a known security issue.
Phone validation: Phone numbers are now checked against international numbering plans, so only real, assignable numbers are accepted.
Data protection: Additional safeguards ensure location information linked to appointments is handled consistently within the platform's data protection measures.
